Henricus, Poster of the raffle exhibition held in early 1893

For 135 years, the HKK has organized a multitude of activities.

The Haagse Kunstkring (HKK) is an association of artists and art lovers that connects three centuries in its history through exhibitions, concerts, lectures, book presentations, performances, film, workshops, excursions, member get-togethers and the monthly dinner.

The society was founded in 1891 by a group of progressive artists and intellectuals who wanted to create a platform for artistic exchange and innovation.

Today, The Haagse Kunstkring is still a lively center for art and culture on the Denneweg, where tradition and innovation go hand in hand.

An incubator and stage for innovation and experimentation.

Thus the Kunstkring, located in the birthplace of Paul van Vliet, has traditionally been a breeding ground and stage for innovation and experimentation, a production house that stimulates, organizes and provides space.

In addition, The Haagse Kunstkring provides a platform for conversations with art-loving members and other interested parties.
