“Free Expression, from Semi-Abstract to Abstract Expressionism”

From November 4 through 29, 2026, Dick Risselada will present his solo exhibition “Free Expression, from Semi-Abstract to Abstract Expressionist” at the Haagse Kunstkring.

In this exhibition, Risselada showcases the results of a personal artistic project in which he progressively moves away from recognizable, figurative forms. Replacing this is a freer and more intuitive way of painting, in which color, movement, and expression take center stage.

The exhibition will be opened on Saturday, November 7, at 4:30 p.m. by Viktor Hoefnagels, an artist and art teacher with whom Dick Risselada has taken classes.
