Sculptures in the courtyard garden of the Haagse Kunstkring
From March through October, the courtyard garden of the Haagse Kunstkring every two months, new sculptures will be installed by sculptors from the Haagse Kunstkring. In this private city garden, spatial work is given a place in the open air, among the greenery and the changing light of the seasons.
The sculptures are executed in a variety of materials, including stone, concrete, bronze, steel and iron. The selection shows different approaches to sculpture, from figurative to abstract.
This outdoor exhibition invites a different way of looking. Not in a hall, but in a garden where art meets nature. Without walls and without frames, space is created for imagination and attention to material, form and scale.
Visitors are welcome to visit the courtyard garden and view the work at their leisure. The combination of art and garden makes this place a small, sheltered space in the middle of the city.
Welcome to this cozy little urban garden.
