Paul de Mol (born 1947) was a teacher at the Academie voor Beeldende Vorming in Tilburg.
He studied at the Ateliers ’63 in Haarlem, met Frans Zwartjes there, traded painting and printmaking for film and before that went to the Free Academy in The Hague.
He was one of the first Dutch visual artists, who became involved with film
involvement. Organized the Experiment in Dutch Film at the Stedelijk Museum in A’dam (1985) and later expanded his field of research to theater (including Mickery, A’dam). He moves on the borderland between different art disciplines, also as an organizer.
