From August 27 to September 20, the Albert Vogelzaal will host an exhibition on the Guido van Deth Puppet Theater, featuring Felicia van Deth (1931–2015) as the central figure. This exhibition is in conjunction with the upcoming book about the life of Felicia, who was also a member of the HKK.

In 2000, Felicia had to decide to stop performing in puppet theater for health reasons. In 2014, Marianne Rehorst suggested that they work together on a book that would chronicle Felicia’s life story.

During weekly sessions, Felicia talked about her life before, during, and after the death of her mentor, Guido. Just before she died in a traffic accident in 2015 while staying in Switzerland, the decision was made to publish the book.

Marianne Rehorst used her audio recordings as the basis for the book, in which Felicia speaks at length. The final section of this publication is devoted to memories and anecdotes from loyal theatergoers.

The exhibition features props, puppets, and photographs that played an important role at the Guido van Deth Puppet Theater.

The book will be presented on Saturday, September 5, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
